Always a Chance 2013 Fundraising

During the course of the year in 2013 The Wilde Group alongside Wooden Supplies held a number of fundraising activities to generate money for the local charity Always a Chance.

Always a Chance is a charity created following the tragic murder of two friends James Cooper & James Kouzaris in Florida on April 16th 2011.  The charity was set up to support the local community by funding projects that work with young adults that are either not in full time education or employment or have recently left custodial care.  Always a Chance aims to provide a platform to re-enter the educational system or take the first steps into employment, in addition to this they also fund projects that provide support for victims of violent crime.

We are pleased to confirm that within 2013 we raised a staggering £1,100.00.  A cheque was presented to the mother and father of James Kouzaris at our premises in Harlestone Firs, Northampton.

Since the presentation we have received the following correspondence from Hazel Kouzaris:

‘ Thank you all once again for your kindness. Pete and I were really quite overwhelmed by the kindness of all the employees.  We realise it would have taken a lot of cake baking etc to raise that amount of money!! We will be able to help so many youngsters with this generous donation.’
