The University of Reading is a university in the English town of Reading, Berkshire. The University was established in 1892 as University College, Reading and received its Royal Charter in 1926. It is based on several campuses in, and around, the town of Reading.
The Whiteknights development by Morgan Sindall created a high quality community environment reducing its carbon footprint with two state-of-art halls of residents. The Wilde Group were involved in two phases of the new student accommodation blocks all providing all the internal balustrades and handrails to the staircases, atrium balustrades and service riser grills. Externally The Wilde Group provided cycle and bin enclosures as well as stainless steel handrails to the communal garden area.
