Charity of the Year 2014 – Northampton and District Mind

The Wilde Group and Wooden Supplies have chosen the charity Northampton & District Mind for our fundraising this year.

Mind’s mission is to support and empower any persons and connected family and friends affected by a mental health experience.  They campaign to enhance awareness, improve services and promote understanding.

Our charity coordinators for the year are Nicola Scott, Lisa Eversden and Karen Heard.

Nicola said ‘ We have set ourselves a fundraising target of £2000, we are hoping to raise money through different avenues and activities throughout the year and are confident we will raise an amount that can make a difference.  I have been to visit our local Mind centre and I can see where our money can enhance the facilities and overall experience of a person visiting them.  It is an exciting prospect and myself, Lisa and Karen are focused and motivated with the task ahead.’
