Ian Townsend – Sales Director
Ian Townsend is the Sales Director at The Wilde Group. Ian’s early years of employment were on the shop floor of a metal fabrication business where he completed a City & Guilds apprenticeship in welding and fabrication which lead to an 18 year career on the tools before moving up into management position.
Ian joined TWG in 2000 as general manager for the new acquisition of the fabrication division to the group which has grown to become the Wilde Group known for offering integrated construction solutions.
Today, Ian’s fundamental role is managing our customer’s expectation to ensure we are known as the supplier of choice with our key customers. His main focus is centred on identifying opportunities with businesses that could benefit from engaging with us to use our services. Using effective use of communication Ian’s objective is to forge strong partnerships with people that will continue to use us for providing solutions to their business needs.
